MANILA, Philippines -- Accompanied by supporters from his home province, Pampanga Governor Ed Panlilio asked the Supreme Court on Thursday to stop the Commission on Elections' recount of votes in Pampanga in line with the protest of losing gubernatorial candidate Lilia Pineda.
