When Enteng arrived in California he saw an ad looking for a pilot for a new flying boat. Although he had an Aeronautics degree, the guy had limited experience flying planes. However, the interviewer was impressed by his appearance and so Enteng was given the opportunity to test his skills.
After some time in the air, Enteng was signaled that it was time to land. He was about to land –on the ground! The co-pilot who was reviewing him shouted, "Hey, this is a flying boat so were supposed to land on the sea."
"Yes, I know, relax I was just fooling you, " answered Enteng, trying to look as calm as possible, "Don’t worry, I know how to fly. " The flying boat landed on San Francisco Bay safely and the co-pilot was impressed. "That’s great, you have presence of mind! I’ll tell my boss that you successfully passed the test! "
"Thank you sir, thank you so much! " Enteng was overjoyed. He was so happy that he did not commit a big mistake, so he immediately opened the door in a gesture of courtesy and gratitude. "Please be my guest, " he told the co pilot, who then steeped out and…. =)
