INGREDIENTS:500g prawns 2 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp black pepper 4 cloves garlic 4 coriander roots 3 tsp cooking oil METHOD: 1. Wash prawns,cut off feelers.Devein,but keep the shells on. 2. Dry prawns and arrange on-oven proof serving dish. 3. Pound coriander roots with pepper and garlic. 4. Heat oil in frying pan. 5.Add pounded ingredients and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until fragrant. 6. Stir in soysauce and sugar. 7. pour sauce mixture over prawns and bake for 8-10 minutes at 180c till shells turn bright red. Note: U can actually bake it in an oven toaster.just use an aluminium foil. COMMENTS | ||
Ginataan Jackfruit Jun 19, 2009 | gadyetjunkie Ingredients:1 medium-sized jackfruit, washed and finely chopped 1 medium-sized Onions, chopped 1 medium-sized garlic, chopped 1/4 cup Dried shrimp coconut milk from 2 coconuts Salt to taste Procedure: 1. In a casserole, cook coconut milk with onion, salt, and dried shrimp. Bring to boil. 2. Stir regularly to prevent coagulation. 3. Add the jackfruit. Cook till tender. 4. Spicy Dilis Jun 18, 2009 | gadyetjunkie Ingredients:1/4 kilo dilis 1 pc medium sized egg 1/4 c brown sugar 2 t salt 1/2 c cornstarch 1 t chili powder oil for deep-frying Procedure: 1. In a bowl, beat egg until fluffy. 2. Add sugar, salt and chili. 3. Then cornstarch. Beat until smooth. 4. Pour mixture over dilis. 5. Stir until completely coated. 6. Pinoy Shanghai Style Fried Rice Jun 18, 2009 | gadyetjunkie Sarap nito sa umaga!Ingredients: 5 cups leftover rice mashed lightly with 1 cup of cold water 1/2 c pork loin, sliced finely 1/2 c fresh shrimps, shelled and chopped 3 pcs chinese sausages, sliced thinly 2 gloves garlic, minced 1 medium sized shallots, minced 3 T soy sauce parsley, chopped (optional) scallions (optional) vegetable oil Procedure: 1. In a frying pan, heat oil and add garlic and shallots. Fry until brown. 2. Add sausages, pork, and shrimps. S 3. Season with soy sauce and parsley. 4. Add rice. Continue frying until all ingredients blended. 5. When done, garnish with scallions. 6. Serve hot. COMMENTS | ||
